Hans and Jean-Pierre met at a university lecture back in 2003 where
they were both studying at the time. Both turned out to be avid amateur
astronomers who also shared a love of ambient space music.
Hans came up with the idea of recording a series of ambient space
albums based on the planets of the solar system back in 2005.
Only now due mainly to work commitments have Lumiere finally
started on that journey into the far reaches of beyond with their
first album Venus Planets Volume 1
